Suckage

You know those kind of days where nothing goes right and it seems like the whole world is against you and you feel like you're running uphill the whole time and you kind of hate your life and you wish you could just run away and if you didn't have two really cute kids, you totally would?

I'm having one of those days.

PS: Go see Rhonda, my new renter from Self-Proclaimed Supermom. She doesn't suck.

  • Oh I can only tell you that has been my entire week. I'm sorry. If it makes you feel any better, here I am, fighting sleep at 12:30 am PST just to send you some moral support through the ether.

  • I hate when I have one of those days...lock yourself in the bathroom with a pound of chocolate, a glass of wine, and a great book. Refuse to come out until you feel better...works for me! :)

  • You are a fabulous tenant. Your insistence that I go visit has finally sunk in. Off I go.

  • Suckitude, sucks.

Nothing else witty to say. Be well.

  • Sorry you had a bad day. I hate days like those. Jake had that kind of a day yesterday. He got the truck loaded to go to the dump, but when he got there the dump was closed. When he got back home he locked his keys in the truck.

  • Sorry mama! At least the next day is bound to be a little bit better. Eat lots of yummy things to make yourself feel better. Oh wait, that's probably not very good advice, but what the hell.

  • Yeah, I have those months, I mean weeks, I mean days.
    Hope yours gets better.

  • When I'm feeling sucky, I like to read up on the latest drama in Britney Spears's life. Somehow it makes me feel a little bit better knowing that things could ALWAYS be worse.

  • I know all about those days too. It's like a black cloud is hanging over your house.

Hope all is well soon and tomorrow is a new day :)

  • please, you know my week's been like that. it started off with a fight and then blossomed into a vomitting kid! it's exhausting, no?

  • Hang in there; suckage usually has a quick expiration date. Especially in spring. *hugs*

  • Oh, hon, I seem to have at least one of those days a week. I'm sorry you're going through one this weekend. I agree with others - lock yourself away in the bathroom with alcohol and bubble bath and refuse to come out. Or leave and go shopping - shopping therapy is always good. :)

  • Yah I have those days too. They do suck.

But then the next day, everything goes my way. You know, like when you hit every green traffic light. Hope it's that way for you.

  • I know what you mean...Personally, I am trying to find meaning in my suffering. I will let you know if I find it, and what happens when I do.

    Hugs.

  • Oh I hate those days!! Thank god for two really cute kids, chocolate and a stiff drink.

  • I have to second (or third, or fourth) the other Mama's sentiments... a glass of wine, a bit of chocolate, a bath, a good book, and locking the crappy world away for a while is the best cure for a horrible week.
Chin up - it gets better!

  • I know those days and it's nice to know I'm not the only one. Hope it's all better tommorow.

  • Oh hell ya, I know those days.

It seems like you'd be able to figure out wordpress a lot faster than I can! Get over there! LOL

  • She'll be 11 in June.
Yeah, I guess I'm grateful that she's a talker ... but I honestly wanted to jump out of the car today!

  • sorry you had a crap day - those are so unfun. I say, go back to bed and don't come out till the next day. I hope things are better now that it's Monda

  • I know those days all too well. I don't know how many things you are supposed to be accomplishing, but, if I'm able to on days like this, I sometimes literally declare the day a wash and then go to a movie or something.

  • I had the same day yesterday. I think it has something to do with it being Sunday. The whole back to the grind thing about the beginning of the week always gets me down.

By Anonymous Anonymous, at 4/10/2006 12:02:00 PM

  • are you any better today?

By Blogger noncommon, at 4/10/2006 12:47:00 PM

  • Today is a new and brighter day, I hope!

    Smiles!

  • Uh, yeah, I had a day like that yesterday! You're right on cue.
