Hot Blasts

Me: God, why is it so hot in here?

Hubz: It's not hot. I think it's just you

5 y/o Daughter: You're having a hot blast, Mommy

My five year old is telling me I'm having a damn hot flash??? For the record, I think I was just hot but still...how does she know about that stuff?

Thanks all you wise and kind people out there who commented on the Suckage post. Saturday and Sunday blew majorly for a wide variety of reasons that I won't bore you with but today is okay so far. I have a call to make and depending on the outcome, I may retract that last statement. I don't mean to be cryptic. I just don't want to report anything incorrectly.

In other news, I'm leaving Blogger for a new home and my own domain. I was on the fence between Movable Type and Wordpress and after much waffling, I decided on Wordpress. In the next day or so, I'll have my new address posted here and hopefully anyone who comes here will go there.

  • Glad you are feeling better. That is Awesome to hear about your new domain name and blog. With WordPress you can import all of your posts and comments too with a few clicks. I love WordPress! I will definitely be following you there! I am still excited to have my own domain name and it has been almost 3 months that I have had it now lol. Congradulations. LMAO, I almost wrote 'I am so proud of you' hehe, so used to talking to my son lol. Take care.

  • Glad you are feeling better. Hope that... um, phone call goes ok and a retraction is not in order!
    I have yet to experience a hot blast (very cute) but with my 40th birthday looming, I'm sure that experience is forthcoming soon.

  • Sure hope a retraction is not necessary. And you will have to enlighten me on the bigger and better things awaiting you at Wordpress. I barely have a clue as to all Blogger is about and wonder why everyone seems to be so unhappy with it. I feel like such an idiot when everyone talks about feeds and photoshop and bloglines. Where do you guys get your smarts from?

  • I moved from Blogger to WordPress and even after less than 24 hours I see the advantages! Of course, the fact that my children are not getting fed and the work is not getting done (although, the blog work is good work) because I am determined to figure it all out and make the most of it. Good luck - can't wait to see - and read!

  • I have had hot blasts since I was 24. I am 27 now. I think it had to do with a med I was taking not sure though. Glad it comes and goes now, otherwise I would be so irritated.
