Venting...
I'm so tired of being tired. My husband is going out of town next month for about 4 days. He gloated this morning about how it's going to be so great to get a full night's sleep and not be woken up 2-3 times a night by our resident teething insomniac and I got SO mad at him. When is it going to be MY turn to get a full night of sleep? Hmm? Grrrrr...

I'm not much help here... since my dd goes in bouts of sleeping and then waking (usually only once and down again with a quick tap). It took AWHILE though. Are you still bfing in the middle of the night??
We cut that out and that seemed to help a lot. I just would go in and rock her instead of bfing and then the next week I would just pat her and now I just go in and sit there (it's maybe 1-2x a week otherwise she sleeps from 7-6am).
And, I'm putting away a dollar for everytime I don't get a full night's sleep - a coach bag, or something fancy is calling my name. Maybe it will console me. LOL.
ps I got to the gym and she was fine. yay.

I think it all started when he began teething b/c he used to sleep a lot longer. I think I've trained him to wake up and expect to be b/f. And that's what I do, right on cue. The problem is that his crib is in our room so if I don't give him what he wants, he cries really loud and then we're all wide awake. He's got us by the short & curlies and I think we're totally screwed now. You're right, though. I gotta stop that late night b/f. *yawn* Thanks!
